Right now, I am aiming to build the backbone of my middlegame training exactly from these two books. In comparison with Panchenko’s puzzles, I could say that some of the positions were equally difficult apart from the study which Panchenko casually presented as middlegame defence training!
Junta rated it liked it Aug 18, Thanks for telling us about the problem. The examples given illustrate problem solving skills at the highest level, but because of the great number, the solutions game continuations and commentary are necessarily brief.
