I do this on audio and it is only about conqjest hours long, but it is full of such spiritual truth that by the time it is finished my whole focus has shifted back to Christ and off myself. He finds delicious ways of expressing the biblical truth.

Don’t read this book unless you are genuinely open to having your life and faith challenged.

Something very important what we need not forget that God is not just jealous over us, as individual children of His, but as the ideal husband is jealous over us as His bride. This book is much deeper and harder to understand xonquest the previous Tozer book I read. The old cross condemned, the new cross amuses. It is not a soft drink.

His one aim is to “know Him in the power of His resurrection and in the fellowship of His sufferings. Dear God, wreck me for you. God’s dominion over all is described, and there is particular emphasis on the Holy Spirit, and how he enlightens, gives life to the word of God and ability to the saints to love and serve God.

It is hard not to like A. Though he is not a Pentecostal he is more apt to speak about the Holy Spirit than many so called Charismatics. He will take the direction of your life away from you.
