Everything happens at full speed and with a precision out of this world. It’s insulting and offensive. Well, I amu Amy Bartol is bound and determined to find the answer with this series, because Intuition tore me apart, spat me out, and stomped me to bits, and my vy is in need of some serious down time right now!! And Alfred’s downfall is now forever engrained in my head. Jan 06, Suike rated it really liked it. Emotions off all the poxy place!!

Get r for a very detailed and boring description 2. Doing real stupid things Two words: I imagine those people not familiar with a southern drawl will find it to be nearly incomprehensible.

How could she just leave Reed like that?!? I tried to wait for the highly anticipated second installment of this wonderful series as an ebook and just couldn’t!

Will she be able to escape before she becomes one of them herself? I’ll say this one more time, I really wanted to enjoy this book. I read this novel for about hours straight from beginning to end, only stopping to use the restroom. I mean who can resist eternal love? How he would savor my surrender. The world is really well developed and the storyline has a nice complexity to it that keeps the story interesting, and the reader involved.

Anyway, I liked it I guess, but I’m getting a little tired of the endless threats and increasingly dire circumstances following the characters – sometimes it can get a bit overboard if there is nothing to really balance it out. But now, she craves him and he knows that; he has been counting on her need to end the gnawing pain. And what’s with the accent!!??? In a nutshell, Evie was the target to ALL those species because she had a soul, and they were attractive to her, trying to claim her.

The scene in the library where she’s listening to his lamenting voicemails, esp in Angelic, was a little heartbreaking.

Then we h 4. Had a good laugh. I love these characters. Here is another barhol message, from Buns: I love the Johnny Depp image. It was worth it!

I was not going to waste another minute reading this. I loved the first book, but this one took everything to another level. Tell me about it! Reed is so perfect. Last but not least… Brennus de Graham.

The whole book is one big fat nuisance. It is so annoying.

Consequently, I find the portion of the story told from Russell’s perspective to be very hard to read. I love them all. I must say that Mrs. The first book was just okay. Books by Amy A. The forced slang in an attempt to be “cool” is ever present.

May I just say that this is one of those books that end up being better than the first which is kinda rare these days First of all, i read this book in one sitting ’cause i couldn’t put it down. Other than those vampire stuff, I’m also not a fan of love-triangles. View all 3 comments. On to the story. I tried but I couldn’t. The only female lead who is powerful and acknowledged for her strength and skill first and foremost is androgynous and killed in a violent fight without having any real development.

Like I said the book one finished with our love triangle. Gave first book only 2 stars, this one got one. End of the road for me with this one While a part of me can’t help but wish Evie would never feel anything for anyone other than Reed because he deserves her whole heart, her journey makes that impossibility bearable. The whole “I am sacrificing myself for everyone” and then the constant crying and lamenting over everything.
